Founder Bio: Rev. Stephen Whittaker
Stephen is a certified healing factilitator trained in many traditions
of holistic therapy who seeks to help others awaken to their full potential and become
co-creative in the spiritual process. He began the path of a healer and teacher in 1998
when he began exploring psychic development and shamanism after years of practicing and
learning various methods in those fields. Through the years he attended several workshops
and worked in apprenticeship with various practitioners as he developed his own methods to
integrated spiritual techniques and healing. Since 2000 he performed clairvoyant readings
and intuitive counseling sessions as he was drawn further and further to using the
techniques to do more than touch the surface of client's issues. He sought and found
himself driven by a higher purpose to master those techniques for healing and helping
others achieve greater success in their lives.
In 2004 he was introduced to Reiki after years of exploring it through research on his own by an experienced Reiki Master Teacher in Asheville, North Carolina. Attending several publich Reiki shares provided by the facilitator he found himself compelled more and more to bring the power of the tradition into his own life. While on a quest for self-discovery, Stephen experienced a long period of painful digestive disorders and abdominal issues which were impeding his growth as an individual. In the fall of 2005 he had a spiritual vision during a night of intense pain and discomfort where he was taken by beings who presented themselves as healing Angels and was allowed to learn a method of healing which utilized the higher dimensional vibrations of the Sacred Hebrew Alphabet to repair the body for optimum health and spiritual progression. The process allowed him not only to heal his disorder, but also propelled him forward in his healing practice and service as a spiritual counselor and psychic intuitive.
In 2006 he was re-introduced to Reiki through a colleague impressed with his practice and met another Reiki Master Teacher in Johnson City, Tennessee who also held Reiki shares in her home. Eventually he made the comittment to become a Reiki practitioner and incorporate the tradition into his own methods and received his first complete Attunement to the Western form of Reiki in May 2007. Later that year he received his Second Level Attunement by a fellow student of the same teacher.
In May of 2008 he became an ordained Spiritual Minister with Universal Ministries and received instruction in Crystal Healing, advanced Psychic Counseling, and became a proficient metaphysical consultant in various traditions including Shamanism, and Kabbalah. He also wrote many articles on various topics including holistic therapies, the power of intentions, and discussions of various religious paths. In March of 2009 Stephen was introduced to a new form of Reiki which incorporated both the traditional teachings of the Usui Shiki Ryoho (Western/Takata Lineage Reiki) and the Usui Tibetan Reiki system of natural healing. Showing a strong gift with Reiki and a devotion to the practice, he was certified as a Chikara-Reiki-Do Master and received attunement to practice as a Usui Shiki Ryoho and Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher. In April of 2009 he began months of instruction in the Kundalini Reiki, Ethereal Crystal, Gold Reiki, and Tachyon Healing systems receiving his final Master Teacher attunement in the specialized multi-technique program after the period of training was completed.
Stephen teaches many workshops in various systems of healing and spiritual practice he has learned over the years, and has attended many workshops which have allowed him to expand his practice and share the wonders of Spirit with others.
He currently lives in Johnson City Tennessee with his life partner and continues to teach as well as provide healing/counseling services for local and international clients. He continues to write articles and will be publishing several books and essays on his experiences as a teacher as well as training materials for the healing methods he discovered during his journey.
