The Sacred Hebrew Alphabet - Language of Light
Historically the alphabet has been used in the writing of the Hebrew language, as well
as other Jewish languages, most notably Yiddish and Judeo-Arabic. There have been two
traditional forms in use though during a long period it was reserved for sacred texts
until established as the official alphabet in modern times. The original old Hebrew script
is known as the paleo-Hebrew script, while the present and more commonly
"square" form of the Hebrew alphabet is a stylized representation of the Aramaic
version of the script. There are many additional styles of the letters' representation
that exist, but the traditional versions are those used by pracitioners today.
The Hebrew alphabet has 22 letters, five of which use different forms at the end of a
word. Hebrew is written from right to left unlike many other Western languages. Its
original forms predating paleo-Hebrew script it has been suggested that the letters are
some of the earliest forms of writing just like Cunneiform and Hieroglyphics which
themselves seem to have a common source.
In mystical lore, Judaism, Kabbalah, and other spiritual disciplines the letters were originally held as sacred and used primarily to write religious texts such as the Torah or to be used with specialized rituals to contemplate the nature of the Creator/God.
Each letter also corresponds to a number, similar to how Roman Numerals were transposed as letters for numerical value. Aside from practical use, each letter is said to have special magical or spiritual properties both individually and in their relation to each other. Many schools of thought assign the letters to other concepts such as the Major Arcana cards of the Tarot, Astrological correspondences, even frequencies of the electro-magnetic spectrum of light.
Culminated from traditional sources as well as channeled information provided through meditation and visions, the highest levels of healing energies which exist within the letters were discovered and used to develop the techniques of various methods including Shekinah Rapha Alignment.
The Alignment is unique in that it focuses on the Letters as the representation of the primal creative forces of the Source/God which work together to form the many layers and levels of reality. During a healing session, the letters appear as vessels of living light which move around and within the recipient either during self-healing or when a practitioner is performing a healing on another individual. They interact with the letters/vibrations already present in the body of the client awakening them to their highest states and aid the participant in rebuilding/activating the healing frequencies of the body. Each letter has a different form of characteristics or energies which are utilized during a session.
The letters are also visualized or inscribed in the area of the session by a specialized method for the best use of their miraculous energies.
The letters of the Hebrew Alphabet (Aleph-Beth) are generally given the following shapes and names:
