What is Kabbalah?
Known by many names, Kabbalah (Qabbalah, Cabala, Kabbala, QBLH) is a complex system of mysticism which studies the spiritual aspects of Judaism and its holy texts including the Torah and Talmud. Divided into different paths, it actually has various forms both ancient and modern which are practiced today. Generally, Kabbalah focuses on meditations and contemplation of Sacred Names, Angelic lore, the hidden mystical wisdom of Sacred Texts, and the mystical properties of the Hebrew Alphabet/Hebrew language. The practice of Kabbalah actually evolved from various spiritual and mystical traditions from around the world as well as a lost ancient practice of early Semitic peoples known as Merkaba Mysticism.
Since this site does not focus on the entire system of Kabbalah but rather a utilization of specific techniques and information from the various systems within the teachings of the practice, it is recommended to the visitor if interested in learning more to research and see if any or all aspects of the path of Kabbalah appeal to their spiritual quest.
